Our sessions can take place in person or online, delivered by our experienced mental health trainers. The training aims to promote understanding of mental health and wellbeing, reduce stigma and provide practical tools to support mental health in the workplace.

Our courses

The return on investment in preventative and proactive approaches to employee mental health is significant. This 3.5 hour workshop covers various aspects of implementing an organisation-wide mental health strategy including the business case; identifying and tackling causes of work-related poor mental health; promotion of wellbeing in organisational culture; the role of managers; data collection and utilisation; and policy review.

Specifically created with Directorate in mind, this workshop is the first step on your change journey.

3.5 Hours

£1600 for 16 people

This course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider. It can be delivered online or in person, and will give you

  • An in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing
  • Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
  • Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
  • Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening
  • Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support – whether that’s self-help resources, through their employer, the NHS or a mix

If you are a Mental Health First Aider you have the skills for life that can support you and the people around you.rnWe believe that mental health should be treated equally to physical health – and just like physical first aid, Mental Health First Aid training should be kept up to date.

The four-hour MHFA Refresher course will empower you to:

• Keep your awareness of mental health supports current

• Update your knowledge of mental health and what influences it

• Practice applying Mental Health First Aid action plan

Please note that the MHFA Refresher is only for people who have completed the Adult Mental Health First Aider course.

4 hours plus break: £1,320 – group sizes up to 25

Understanding the impact of stigma on Mental Health in the workplace.rn

  • Find out how language drives stigma.
  • Discover the prevalence mental health conditions and understand specific diagnoses.

Explore and address some of the most common issues among Men.

  • Understand the factors impacting men’s mental health.
  • Find out why men don’t tend to talk about mental health.
  • Learn what to do if you are worried about yourself.
  • Discover how you can help others.
  • Hear where else you can find support.

1hr 30mins
£400 for up to 30 people

A one-day programme for organisations and communities on how to have a conversation that could save a life. The programme provides an empathic, person-centred approach, based on trust, understanding and excellent communication with participants and across groups. Teaching the theory and practice of suicide intervention skills that can be applied in any professional or personal setting, captured in a one-day event accredited by City and Guilds of London. For anyone who seeks greater understanding and confidence to intervene with people at risk of suicide.

Full day course
£1500 for up to 16 people

The Suicide First Aid Lite course gives learners the knowledge and tools to understand that suicide is one of the most preventable deaths and some basic skills that can help someone with thoughts of suicide stay safe from their thoughts and stay alive. This easy to grasp session gives the first step in greater understanding and confidence to intervene with people at risk of suicide. Suitable for those with no prior knowledge of the subject, it teaches the skills needed to identify someone who may be thinking about suicide and how to direct them to a suicide first aider for further support. 

Half day course
£1000 for up to 20 people
