Sporting Event Declaration

By agreeing to this declaration, you:

• Acknowledge that you are entering the Abingdon Marathon 2026 (AM 26) at your own risk, and Oxfordshire Mind (OxMind) is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the event.
• Understand that your charity place is not free to the charity and costs Oxfordshire Mind £63 to secure.
• Agree to follow the fundraising, branding, and legal guidelines outlined in OxMind’s fundraising pack.
• Commit to raising a minimum of £300 for OxMind, with all funds to be submitted within one month of the event.
• Understand that if you withdraw after 1st September 2026, you must pay £46 to cover OxMind’s costs – charity place (£63 minus your £25 registration fee), and t-shirt/vest (£8).
• Understand that you must raise at least £105 (35% of the target) by 18th August 2026 in order to secure your place, and that your official race registration link will be issued once this amount has been raised. If this target is not met, you risk forfeiting your place and your £25 registration fee.
• Agree to OxMind’s Privacy Statement.
• Understand that the £25 registration fee is non-refundable.

By agreeing to this declaration, you:

• Understand that if you withdraw after 1st September 2026, you must pay £78 to cover OxMind’s costs – charity place (£90 minus your £20 registration fee), and t-shirt/vest (£8).
• Understand that you must raise at least £70 (35% of the target) by 11th August 2026 in order to secure your place, and that your official race registration link will be issued once this amount has been raised. If this target is not met, you risk forfeiting your place and your £20 registration fee.
• Agree to OxMind’s Privacy Statement.
• Understand that the £20 registration fee is non-refundable.

Acknowledge that you are taking up this place in the Mental Elf 25 (ME 25) at your own risk and Oxfordshire Mind (OxMind) shall not be liable in any way for any damage, harm or loss that might occur from my taking part in this event.

Aim to raise at £40 for OxMind from taking part in ME25. You will endeavour to obtain and pay to Oxfordshire Mind all monies raised within 1 month of ME25.

Agree to let OxMind know as soon as possible in the event of injury or other unforeseen circumstance where you can no-longer take part in the run. Medical Disclaimer:

• I am fully aware of the risks associated with physical activity. I am in good medical condition/health and am sufficiently fit to participate in the Mental Elf 2025 5k fun run.
  I have no medical condition which would prevent me from safely participating in this activity.
  I knowingly and willingly assume all such risks and acknowledge that my participation in this activity is fully voluntary.
  In consideration of my participation in this activity, I, on behalf of myself, hereby release and hold harmless Oxfordshire Mind, and any respective volunteers and staff, from any and all liability, loss, damage, costs, claims and/or causes of action of every kind and nature, including but not limited to those for bodily injuries, death, and property damage arising out of or relating to my participation in this event.
  I have read this declaration and fully understand that by signing up to the event I am agreeing to abide by all event guidelines. I further understand that by signing the registration form, I am giving up legal rights and/or remedies, which may be available to me against Oxfordshire Mind.

Agree to raise at least £200 for OxMind from taking part in OHM 25. You will endeavour to obtain and pay to Oxfordshire Mind all monies raised within 1 month of OHM 25.

Agree to let OxMind know as soon as possible in the event of injury or other unforeseen circumstance where you can no-longer take part in the run. If this date is after the 1st September 2025, you agree to pay OxMind £65 to cover the costs of the charity place (£72), and t-shirt/vest (£8) (this is in addition to the £15 registration fee).

You will have a £57 (28.5%) fundraising deadline by 12th August (2 months before the event), this is the cost to cover your run place (less your £15 registration fee). If this is not met, we have the right to cancel your place. We then ask that the full £200 is with us by 12th November (1 month after the event).

If this date is after the 1st September 2024, you agree to pay OxMind £43 to cover the costs of the charity place, and the fees associated with this (this is in addition to the £15 registration fee).

By agreeing to our declaration you:

Acknowledge that you are taking up this place in the Blenheim 7k 2023 (B7k 23) at your own risk and Oxfordshire Mind (OxMind) shall not be liable in any way for any damage, harm or loss that might occur from my taking part in this event.

Agree to follow the guidelines set out in OxMind’s fundraising pack in relation to branding, lotteries, raffles, insurance and fundraising law. The fundraising pack can be found here.

Agree to raise at least £200 for OxMind from taking part in B7k 23. You will endeavour to obtain and pay to Oxfordshire Mind all monies raised within 1 month of B7k 23.

Agree to let OxMind know as soon as possible in the event of injury or other unforeseen circumstance where you can no-longer take part in the run. If this date is after the 1st April 2022, you agree to pay OxMind £16.50 to cover the costs of the charity place, and the fees associated with this (this is in addition to the £15 registration fee).

By agreeing to our declaration you:

Acknowledge that you are taking up this place in the Reading Half Marathon 2023 at your own risk and Oxfordshire Mind or Mind in Berkshire shall not be liable in any way for any damage, harm or loss that might occur from my taking part in this event.

Agree to raise at least £200 for Oxfordshire Mind and Mind in Berkshire from taking part in the Reading Half Marathon 2023. You will endeavour to obtain and pay to Oxfordshire Mind all monies raised within 1 month of the Reading Half Marathon 2023.

Agree to let Oxfordshire Mind know as soon as possible in the event of injury or other unforeseen circumstance where you can no-longer take part in the run. If this date is after the 1st March 2023, you agree to pay Oxfordshire Mind £35 to cover the costs of the charity place, and the fees associated with this (this is in addition to the £15 registration fee).
