Big thanks to Oxfordshire County Councillor Steve Curran for opening our ‘Resilience’ open afternoon event yesterday 2-4pm at the Cowley Wellbeing Centre as part of his ongoing support. This event celebrated the achievements of the ‘Social Inclusion’ and ‘Resilience’ projects which have been supported by Oxford City Council and National Mind in partnership with Oxford Community Foodbank, the Advice centres in Barton, Blackbird Leys, Rosehill and Donnington and Oxford City Council’s Communities and Neighbourhoods team.
These projects have supported over 150 participants to access 1:1 support, information and advice and access to a range of Oxfordshire Mind services which have helped them to build their resilience and to become more socially included.
