Coronavirus and Oxfordshire Mind Services

Infectious disease outbreaks, such as the current Coronavirus (Covid 19), can be scary and can affect our mental wellbeing. We are here to provide you with advice and support, around our current service provision along with wellbeing support and guidance.

Oxfordshire Mind are currently operating as standard, this includes our peer support groups, short courses and workshops, housing, TalkingSpace Plus and all wellbeing services. We are, together with our partners and NHS colleagues, considering various contingency plans depending on how this rapidly changing situation evolves.

Our aim is to keep services open as much as possible whilst keeping service users and staff safe. Over the coming weeks we are likely to deliver more services remotely (via the phone and/or internet) and this is under constant review.

As a result of the virus personal hygiene is of key importance, to minimise the spread, do please be understanding if staff ask you to wash your hands on entering an Oxfordshire Mind premises.

This situation may cause anxiety to the users of our services in many ways – due to the need to self-isolate, or also if people are meeting others/being in common spaces and are concerned about possible infection.

We are here to help, and if you are feeling worried please do reach out to the Information Service (phone: 01865 247788, email: info@oxfordshiremind.org.uk), they will be able to provide support.

We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed, via our websitesocial media and newsletters.
