Volunteering Roles – Currently Available


We’re glad to announce that we’ll be recruiting for some fantastic roles throughout June, July, and August 2026


Role: Wellbeing Volunteer – Cooking

Location: Oxford City

Day: Thursday, Midday/Early afternoon – Weekly

Role information: The Hub is looking for someone to assist with preparing and cooking lunch with a peer support group, this would involve facilitating and planning meals with service users. Previous experience doing a similar role would be ideal but not necessary.


Role: 18-25 Wellbeing Volunteer

Location: Oxford City

Day: Monday once a fortnight

Role information: The Hub is looking for an individual between the age of 18-25 to volunteer in a peer support group for service users who are also 18-25 yr old. We’re looking for someone open-minded, gentle, and caring to support service users who attend.


Role: Older adults Wellbeing Volunteer

Location: Oxford City

Day: Monday, once a month.

Role information: The Hub is looking for someone to volunteer in a peer support group for service users who are 65 yrs plus. We’re looking for someone open-minded, gentle, and caring to support service users who attend.


Role: Arts group -Wellbeing Volunteer

Location: Witney Hub

Day: Thursday morning  – weekly.

Role information: The Hub is looking for someone to volunteer in a peer support group with individuals in an creative group. We’re looking for someone open-minded, gentle, and caring to support service users in getting involved with creative projects. They should be open to potentially facilitating or co-facilitating the group with the supervision of a member of staff.


Role: Wellbeing volunteer – Music Group

Location: Abingdon Hub

Day: Friday 1-3:45pm  Early afternoon

Role information: The hub is looking for someone musically inclined to take an active role in the Abingdon music group. Experience playing one or more instruments is helpful but not necessary; experience facilitating and advocating for positive wellbeing is necessary. You will be supervised by a member of staff with the hope of transitioning into taking a more primary role.


Role: Wellbeing volunteer – drop-in peer support group

Location: Abingdon Hub

Day: Tuesday

Role information: The hub is looking for a volunteer to work alongside the Tuesday peer support group. We’re looking for someone open-minded, gentle, and caring to support service users in their day-to-day well-being.  You will mainly be involved in chatting and playing games with attendees, occasionally lending an ear where appropriate.


Role: Wellbeing Volunteer

Location: Didcot

Day: Thursday morning

Role information: We are looking for a volunteer to join the Didcot peer support group. You will be involved in conversations around the day-to-day well-being of the attendees and assisting in setting up the group working alongside a member of staff to lead discussion.
