Current Wellbeing Service Volunteer

The Wellbeing Service provides short courses and peer support groups, helping people in their journey to improved wellbeing and better mental health. Wellbeing Service Volunteers help with our peer support groups. These groups focus on a range of activities including art, cooking, reading and music. Volunteers help to welcome people, and encourage them to engage in activities.

Training required: Oxfordshire Mind Volunteer Induction Training one day course, and half day wellbeing service training.

Time commitment: We ask for a commitment of 1 session per week (2 – 4 hours) for a minimum of 3 months. Volunteers should arrive before the session and stay for a debrief with staff at the end.
