Bestselling author, comedian, and former doctor Adam Kay is the inaugural Patron of Oxfordshire Mind. Known for his memoir This is Going to Hurt and his candid, often humorous reflections on mental health, Adam is a passionate advocate for mental wellbeing.
A long-time supporter of the charity, Adam headlined Oxfordshire Mind’s 2023 Comedy Gala at the Oxford Playhouse. Now based in Oxfordshire, he brings both personal insight and a strong local connection to his role, helping to amplify the charity’s mission to challenge stigma and support better mental health across the county.
