Donating or fundraising in someone’s memory is a very special and meaningful way to remember them – honouring their life and helping others at the same time. We’re always incredibly touched and grateful to receive these donations.
Find out more about the different ways you can support Oxfordshire Mind in memory of a loved one:
Make a donation in someone’s name
As you make your donation, you can tell us the name of this special person and, if you’d like, you can tell us more about why you are donating.
Collect at a funeral or memorial event
Collecting donations at a funeral can help Oxfordshire Mind make a lasting difference in memory of your loved one. You might choose to do this by asking for donations instead of flowers. You could also hold a collection at a celebration of life service or memorial event.
Please be aware of the restrictions on attendance at funerals due to the coronavirus. To help connect friends and family unable to attend the funeral, you may want to invite them to make a donation in memory of your loved one by creating an online memory page in their name. Often people use social media to let others know of the death, the funeral arrangements and how to make a donation.

Create an online tribute page
An online tribute page is an online fundraising page and a wonderful way for you to honour and remember your loved one. As well as fundraising, you can share special memories, photographs, stories and even a video about them.
Family, friends and colleagues can support a tribute page by making donations, bringing everyone’s support together in one place.
Fundraise in memory
Even during this pandemic, there are are lots of creative ways you can fundraise in their memory. Whether a virtual pub quiz, birthday fundraiser or a running challenge with your household – fundraising in memory can be a great way to connect with friends and family to share treasured memories, all while raising vital funds for anyone living with a mental health problem.
